For forty-seven agonizing years, the ancient and noble land of Iran has lived under the suffocating boot of a brutal theocratic occupation. Today, the supreme architect of that misery, Ali Khamenei, is gone. He is dead, yet the apparatus of terror he left behind – specifically the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the desperate cronies clinging to the fading halls of power – continues to wage a cowardly, bloody war against its own citizens.
For nearly five decades, this regime has systematically terrorized the Iranian nation to sustain its existence. Whenever the people stood up for their basic human dignity – from the historic defiance of the Green Movement to the major uprisings that have continually rocked the nation – you met them with military-grade violence and live ammunition. The world watched in absolute horror during the staggering, bloody massacres of recent Decembers and Januaries. Your forces slaughtered tens of thousands of innocent citizens in cold blood simply because they dared to demand freedom, bread, and basic human rights.
Your crimes extend far beyond the streets and into the dark, soundproofed cells of Evin Prison. Your twisted, radical religious interpretation encourages jailbirds and prison guards to commit the most unspeakable atrocities: to savagely rape young virgin girls before you hang them, a barbaric act designed to strip them of their dignity and deny them peace even in death. You have executed human rights lawyers, tortured striking schoolteachers, crushed labor unions, and driven millions of Iran’s brightest minds into exile. You have turned a proud, wealthy nation into a global pariah.
This catastrophe was not engineered in a vacuum. For forty-seven years, foreign governments – including the European Union and various Western administrations – have engaged in a shameful, spineless policy of appeasement. They have repeatedly shaken the blood-stained hands of these regional terrorists, signed worthless pieces of paper, and looked the other way during decades of massacres and systemic discrimination against religious minorities and political dissidents.
This reality brings an urgent, vital message to U.S. President Donald Trump and other global leaders: do not deal with this dying regime. Do not throw these terrorists an economic lifeline under the guise of diplomacy. Any negotiation with the IRGC or the remaining regime loyalists is a direct betrayal of the Iranian people. The time for deals is over. The international community must unequivocally recognize the IRGC for what it is – a transnational terrorist syndicate that must be completely isolated and dismantled.
The best thing you can do right now – for yourselves, your families, and your homeland – is to put your guns down once and for all. Stop the slaughter of innocent citizens. Stand up, step aside, and help Reza Pahlavi. Support him in this transition to rescue your country from total collapse.
